While Septiflow naturally warms and moistens the inhaled air by allowing transfer of heat from expiratory to inspiratory line; patented integrated inspiratory and expiratory self sealed water traps avoid accumulation of the condensation. Integrated CO2 Gas Sampling Line also allows precise measurement of end tidal CO2 through capnography device hence eliminating the low flow anesthesia’s rebreathing risk.

Collection and and drainage of the condensate with a closed system is crucial to eliminate challenges above and to prevent infection (VAP and sepsis).
